About

Statement

Matteo Peterlini, an Italian-born artist currently based in Berlin and Italy, pushes the boundaries of human perception through post-conceptual art, inviting profound audience engagement. Utilizing diverse mediums such as photography, algorithms, video, performance, drawings, objects, and installation, Peterlini creates relational environments that challenge conventions and foster intimate exchanges, while employing a strategic use of paradox to transform artistic encounters. Dissolving opposites and prompting deep reflections on existence, his work becomes a medium of exchange, reflecting his unique approach of self-reflection and introspection within the medium itself.
