Statament
Seems that the main characteristic of the contemporary art is that is difficult to define it, that is because its own boundaries are constantly redefined dealing with the technology’s development, and, of course, with the topics always belonged to the artistic imaginary. In this sense we can define Matteo Peterlini as a contemporary artist. What he does is a process of observation of reality, trying to enlighten what seems to be shadowed by the daily life. In his art works he investigates the phenomena of the vision as phenomenological aspect: how we can look at the world and how the world look at us. The aim of the work is the opening of new areas of paradox that speak not only about aesthetics, but also about the human state.
